Dance genre music video analysis

One Kiss by Due Lipa and Calvin Harris uses a retro mise en scene with heavy CGI to create their video. Their video references a summer setting with beaches and pools shown along with high saturated colours which creates a synthetic feel of warmth. The video begins with a series of jump cuts with static like transitions which creates a retro feel to the performance. The scene then cuts to a full body shot of Dua Lipa as the non-diegetic music begins and the camera pans to the CGI image of the blue sky and palm tree which again references the summer season. Multiple scenes are then shown matching to the beat of the song with jump cuts. Throughout the video there are prominent tones of blue and orange with high saturation which has been done to make the use of CGI more obvious due to the contrast. The colour blue is also typically linked to the ocean, sky and hydration along with the orange tones linking to the sun which enforces the feelings of tropical weather. 
There is use of a birds eye view shot later on in the video as Dua Lipa
